After a couple of breaks in 2004 that varied between dreadful and indifferent on the weather front, we decided to try and find a bit of late sun in the Mediterranean – Mallorca to be precise. We picked a completely different holiday format for us – a one week walking tour of the Tramuntana mountains in the north of the island organised by Explore Worldwide. Having flown in to Palma, the route took us about 60 Km from Deia, via the Monasterid de Lluc, to Pollença. Unfortunately, what we found mostly seemed to be rain with some hail thrown in for good measure! Nonetheless, we had a good time in good company and will most probably try a walking tour again.
